One of my favorite things in the world is people who run to the internet to complain about the internet.

Look, AOC is a back-bencher. Sure she can get some headlines, but nothing more. She's not a leader of the party.

Donald Trump controls the GOP, including your Congressman and both your Senators.

I'm just trying to inject some reality into your delusions.

Donald Trump is NOT irrelevant. He IS the leader and the face of the GOP. A host of candidates running this election are HIS backed candidates.

And AOC is not equivalent to MTG. At all. AOC is not a violent, racist anti American seditionist.

AND while we’re on the subject of MTG, she’s not unique. The entire Republican Party is subservient to Donald Trump. And there are many just like MTG, including Kevin McCarthy, Lauren Boebert, Paul Gosar, Jim Jordan, Matt Gaetz, Jim Banks, Andy Biggs, Louie Gohmert, Thomas Massie, Barry Loudermilk, just to name a few.

Plugging your ears going “ la la la” like a child, doesn’t change reality.

This GOP party is pro sedition and anti American.

It's not a card. Here's how you can tell.

Name one vote or policy position of Ralph Norman's that is any different from Donald Trump's.

Name one vote or policy position of Marjorie Taylor Greene's that is any different from Donald Trump's.

Name one vote or policy position of Lindsey Graham's that is any different from Donald Trump's.

You can't do it, because there's no light between them.

In today's world if a liberal compromises with a conservative or vice versa they are immediately taken to task on the internet as well talk radio as being either a rino or a Dino.
Especially by people like you.
Twenty-five years ago, was 1997 and before then you had people like Newt Gingrich using the politics of division. Then you had people like Rush Limbaugh doing the same thing on the radio but taking it even further. So, the internet really had nothing to do with your claim and everything to do with your heroes like Gingrich and Limbaugh.

Oh, and don't forget Fox New, who you claim never to listen to, and the major amplifier of hatred in America.
When you vote left, you vote right.

25 years ago the country was just as reactionary as now, just didn't know it yet. Yes, it was when conservative isolationist dominionist Republicans consolidated their control of the broadcast media and began to become aware that they would have to figure out a way to do the same thing to this new emerging Internet thing.

Which they have since done.

Lol what in blue blazes would conservative men know about “intestinal fortitude“?

You guys hide behind authoritarian governments, mass murdering vigilantes, self-generated lies, and outright criminal cheating so you can have everything handed to you regardless of what the cost to everyone else.

Now go ban a book.

Gold Star families, vets get lifetime public lands passes

The Interior Department starting this week on Veterans Day will begin issuing free lifetime passes to national parks and other federal recreational lands for military veterans and members of Gold Star families.

The new lifetime passes are courtesy of the Alexander Lofgren Veterans in Parks Act, approved by Congress in December 2021. It codified into law a 2020 National Park Service policy that authorized free lifetime access to military veterans and Gold Star Family members who are immediate relatives of a service member who died while serving the nation during a time of conflict.

No, he believes his son got his cancer from burn pits in Iraq.

He might be wrong, or he might be right, but it isn't dementia. This is why he says he thinks he lost his son Beau in Iraq. Even if the cancer didn't kill him until he returned home.

Biden signs ‘burn pits’ help for vets; a personal win, too
She described her late husband as “a soldier as strong as an ox” but also “the ultimate cuddler” for his daughter Brielle, who stood to her mother’s side clutching a stuffed figurine wearing military camouflage.

“Ours is just one story,” Danielle Robinson said. “So many military families have had to fight this terrible emotional battle. So many veterans are still battling burn pit illnesses today.”

After the Robinsons took their seats for the president’s remarks, Biden addressed Brielle directly.

“I know you miss your daddy. But he’s with you all the time,” he said. “He’s inside you. He’s going to whisper in your ear when you have hard decisions to make.”

Then he pointed out that Brielle was sitting next to his grandson, the son of Beau Biden.

“His daddy lost to the same burn pits,” Biden said. “He knows what you’re going through.”

It was the most direct link the president has publicly drawn between Beau’s fatal brain cancer and burn pits. The president made addressing the problem one of his priorities during his State of the Union address in March.
It wasn't the only time Biden said as much.

Yes they think those they oppress better be civil to them, or else.

They’re used to hunting us down like we’re animals.

Hey!

You didn’t step off the sidewalk into the gutter when Karen came down the street, now we’re forced to burn down your whole neighborhood!

Inflation now at a 43 year high. Tell me again about what a great president Joe Biden is and how great liberal policies are for our country.
Yes, six months before the election, Glenn was sooo happy that inflation and gas prices were up, because he thought that would be his ticket to a Republican landslide. What's funny is he and Joe, both of whom were predicting a landslide because "the voters weren't buying what we were selling" are now pretending they think this was the best possible outcome of the election.

Glenn says Biden was choking off oil production in America. Guess not. And inflation? Improving:
The price of gasoline is dropping like a rock. Chicken wings are suddenly a bargain. And retailers drowning in excess inventory are looking to make a deal.

After more than a year of high inflation, many consumers are finally starting to catch a break. Even apartment rents and car prices, two items that hammered millions of household budgets this year, are no longer spiraling out of control.

Global supply chains are finally operating normally, as more consumers spend more on in-person services like restaurant meals and less on goods like furniture and computers that come from an ocean away. The cost of sending a standard 40-foot container from China to the U.S. West Coast is $1,935 — down more than 90 percent from its September 2021 peak of $20,586, according to the online freight marketplace Freightos.

The moderation in inflation is just beginning to appear in government statistics. In October, the Federal Reserve’s preferred price gauge, the personal consumption expenditures index, posted its smallest monthly increase since September of last year, and is up 6 percent over the past 12 months. The better-known consumer price index is rising at an annual rate of 7.7 percent, down from 9.1 percent in June.
While the right complained about these things, they didn't offer ANY solutions of their own. Their biggest solution was to shut down the government. The rest of what they want is to attack LGBTQ people, and impeach the President and his administration one by one.

But even Newt Gingrich says basically everything Glenn has been saying about Biden is bullshit:
Republicans must learn to quit underestimating President Joe Biden.

The college and professional football seasons always help me clarify the difference between winning and losing. I love the Green Bay Packers, but they are not having a good year. On the other hand, the University of Georgia just executed its second undefeated regular season since Herschel Walker played there. (Of course, the Bulldogs must beat LSU for the SEC Championship and then win their second consecutive national championship to Georgia alumni’s expectations.)

The clarity of winning and losing creates a clarity of analysis about who is doing well and who isn’t.

If you apply that simple model to Biden, you realize how well he is doing by his own definition of success.
Biden is doing a good job. The GOP is a shitshow.

And if Biden runs in 2024, he has a perfect roadmap to do so, the re-election campaign of Harry S. Truman in 1948. He was very unpopular, but Congress was even MORE unpopular, and he ran against the "do-nothing Congress" was won big.

People like MTG have the real control over Congress, and all they are going to do in impeach, impeach, impeach and shut down the government.

But Glenn will still be accusing Biden of having Alzheimer's. Because that's all he has.

They can't win an impeachment any more than the Democrats could. Impeachment, as we have seen many times now, requires a bipartisan consensus. The odds of getting one of those exceed the odds of winning the lottery.

Yeah, what's funny this time around is that they don't have any actual issues for impeachment, they'll make those up later. They REALLY think this is a political winner for them, along with shutting down the government.

They can't learn a lesson.

If impeachment becomes standard procedure following midterm elections, it also becomes another political charade with a pre-ordained outcome.
