The markets had severe plummets under Trump. And yet, not a word. I hope you’re not drinking on the road.

Had your boy drumpf instructed Americans to get vaccinated and wear masks, instead of drinking or injecting bleach, we wouldn't have had the prolonged economic contraction when commerce by necessity stopped. Of course you couldn't get KN95/N95 masks until Biden who you don't like made it a priority, now you can, but people don't wear them because they're still brainwashed that it's somehow un-American to be like the Asians and mask up in public if they suspect possible problems. They sure didn't get that misinformation from Biden.
You couldn't get tests without a long wait at a distant site until Biden made it a priority, now you can, often for free, and test at home any time you need to. Lots of people do that. You couldn't until we got a real president, now you can.
Of course when putin lost his buddy drumpf he was still emboldened enough to start a major land war in Europe while rattling the nuclear saber at everyone else. Said war didn't end in 3 days like he said it would, because we had elected a president who stands up to wannabe Hitlers. You can argue that if said president has simply told Putin to go to it with his blessing, the way drumpf would have, there would be no war in Ukraine. You can argue that. You will, however, be wrong, because Putin has said publicly that he has designs on half of Europe.
Now the weak president you don't like is quietly passing his entire agenda through a hostile Senate.
Better than your boy drumpf ever did.

Zero self awareness, tons of self-delusion and self-loathing.
Typical conservative person.

It is still open to learned discussion as to what the somewhat over-rated DJIA with its handful of stocks and its rubber points actually means for the economy. Opinion is mixed on this, and it's mostly the Nooz that tracks it because it's easy. In any event, the indisputable fact remains that it collapsed because the Fed came to its senses and clamped down on inflation which was about 70% caused by drumpf's various lapses in reality-based thinking. Glenn prefers to think that Biden huddled in the White House and asked his advisors what's the best way to crash the market and piss everyone off.
Unfortunately, this view does not reflect reality.

No not even a liberal Democrat would intentionally crash the economy or market. I am sure the Biden believed husband policies would strengthen both.
Oh I see, all the wild Democratic spending that was cut way down in the Senate, and most of which hasn't happened yet, crashed the market, not Putin's war and drumpf's palling around with putin while encouraging everyone back here in the US to reject common sense covid measures.
That really is delusional.

Presidents have a marginal effect on the stock markets. Under Trump, the market went through some of the biggest declines. You didn’t say a word.
Trump was responsible for the biggest unemployment crash since the great depression. You didn’t care about that either. Or the massive amount of debt he piled on.
Take your faux outrage elsewhere. The circus calls.

Biden didn't double the price of gas and fuel. That's drumpf's buddy Putin. He threw a fit and closed all the valves when we wouldn't go along with his war.
Maybe Glenn would prefer Italy. They just elected their own rightie over there and she mouths off almost as much as drumpf. I suggest Rome. Yeah, it's a tad expensive but right now the dollar is worth more than any time in my memory all over Europe due to the Democratic policies you decry. No more twelve dollar (US) Cokes. Change your savings into a few billion lire and have fun.
Just about everyone in Rome will speak English to you, which is more than I can say for France, and also ciao and grazie get you a long way. They have soldiers with machine guns, bayonets and all, guarding everything, and their version of the Supreme Court is even weirder than ours. You'll feel right at home.

Glenn is a game playing troll. He claimed the buck stopped with the President and he blamed Biden for high gas prices without recognizing why prices were high in the first place. Then when gas started to come down, he refused to give Biden credit. He refuses to look at the causes of world inflation, either and world wide events. It's just non stop trolling buffoonery.

Glenn doesn't get that the lag between policy and result in this country usually puts the result in the next president's term. Or at least he prefers not to get it when the new guy is a Democrat.

I resign from this discussion. I will talk to a rock instead. The rock won't listen either, but at least I won't get as riled up, and I won't waste as much time trying to reason with it.
