The number of emails I've received and deleted in the last 48 hours. Most of them various politicians or parties begging for money.
On the bright side we don't get junk mail anymore

Boo hoo hoo. Nearly all of mine tell me to click some link immediately or something dire will happen. Most come from Amazon, my ISP, or banks. A few come from the government. All, obviously, are bogus. They're getting really good at imitating the real thing.
What happens when there's a real problem at Amazon, ISPs, banks, or the government? No one's going to believe it's real, and half the population will have unresolved issues causing varying degrees of paralysis.

Re: 97
I get only about three or four a week from scammers or advertising. I use Yahoo for my main email account and Outlook for my "junk" email. Both weed out most of the spam and move it to the junk or trash folders automatically. I don't get emails from politicians asking for money because I don't contribute money to them. I'll work for them through my local Democratic party club.
