Board Issues

First, for our members who haven't re-registered yet, and came here and is wondering WTF happened, and why your account isn't working, Plunderer had tried to do the latest upgrade on the board, and it was a disaster, and we ended up losing the database. He has apologized in another thread, and it is what it is. But we're happy to roll on a new board, Plunderer is very busy with life, and he made me an admin ONLY to deal with the day-to-day tech stuff. I will not be involved in any issues of problems between members, and that's my own choice.

So, if you haven't signed back up yet, please re-register under your old handle, and I'll activate your account as soon as I see it. I have to delete about 100-200 fake accounts a day right now.

I set up only a few forums, since there are only about 25 of us, I didn't think we need tons of forums and sub-forums. If you'd like to see forums we don't have and think there will be enough traffic on them for a new forum, make a suggestion and we'll talk. Any other suggestions or needs, PM me or post here. I'll watch this thread for sure.

Yes, we have lost some functionality and features. However, that is temporary. I'm going to work with Plunderer as his time allows to get some of the plug-ins put in, so that we can get that back, such as being able to post YouTubes. There's one I'm wanting to get up, that will stop this constant influx of fake accounts. There's one account, DEE22789, that's likely a fake, but there's some possibility it isn't fake, so I'm leaving it up for now. If they post and it's spam, PM me immediately and I'll nuke it and the threads. Please, if someone gets through and posts spam threads, PLEASE, do NOT post on those threads. I just want to delete the posts as soon as I can get to a computer or phone.

It may take some time, but the main plan now is to (a) get a regular backup going, and (b) to install the plugins to gain the usability the old board had.
