It was a personal political stance taken by the lady who was in charge of advertising. There was no reason to market to such a small group of consumers.

AB made the mistake of moving the office that makes those decisions to Manhattan and hiring New York liberals to manage it.
The lady who lost her job couldn't have been more condensing in her explanation. She had obviously disdain for the people who consume her product.

It would have made more sense and not caused any controversy had she picked one of AB other brands.

Companies micro-target to different consumers all the time. You are just ignorant of that.

But since you join the right in their hatred of trans people, you champion this boycott. Your hypocrisy is astonishing.

Yes, racism and hatred is what fuels the right. Hatred of people with dark skin, hated of homosexuals and trans people.

And you're on board with it all.

Tell me, why is the Bud Light boycott NOT based upon hatred of trans people?

Yes of course you and your opinions are on the side of truth justice and the American way.
Anyone who doesn't agree with your opinion is a close-minded hate filled bigoted anti trans homophobic fascist.

Explain why you support the boycott, if not for hatred of trans people?

I personally am not boycotting Bud Light it is still my 2nd choice behind Coors Light.

However I do recognize the right of the people who are boycotting the product and have explained to you why it angered so many people.

Oy vey, how fickle the foolish. Now the boycott is coming from the righties.

Chick-fil-A’s DEI leader sparks calls for boycott
https://thehill.com/homenews/4026001-ch ... r-boycott/

News of Chick-fil-A having vice president of Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DEI) has some conservative groups calling for a boycott. The fast food giant has been a favorite among many over the years, due in large part to its religious roots and sporadic financial support of anti-LGBTQ organizations, but a previous announcement of Erick McReynolds, VP, DEI, who has been with the company’s DEI segment since 2020, has some claiming the company has “gone woke.”

[snip]

Last April, activists in Texas sued the city of San Antonio over a policy preventing Chick-fil-A from opening in the city’s airport due to what it called “anti-LGBTQ behavior.” While the lawsuits earned support from the likes of Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, the Texas Supreme Court ruled there wasn’t enough evidence to prove the city had violated previous “religious freedom” laws. Chick-fil-A ultimately chose not to pursue a San Antonio International Airport location. In May 2022, Michigan State Rep. Steve Carra reportedly celebrated the impending overturn of Roe V. Wade by treating colleagues to “God’s Chicken.”

[snip][end]

I'll confess -- if it wasn't on campus, and there weren't days where the other choices are scant (like summer), I'd never set foot there. But I gotta admit I like Popeye's much better. Guess that's the Devil's Chicken. MMMM Ghost Pepper wings.

Explain why they boycotted A/B.

Now you guys are boycotting Chick Fil A. Why? Because they support diversity.

But this is your side, and you defend them no matter what. So you either have no principles, or you agree with what they are saying.

I have done it at least twice.
HERE IT IS FOR THE FINAL TIME

There are things people do to escape from life's realities.
Relaxing and enjoying a beer is one of those things.
So when those simple pleasures in life have a woke agenda thrust upon them by some woke dumbass like the person who was on charge of Bud Advertising they get angry.

But you go ahead and project your own personal hatred of everything and everyone who doesn't agree with your leftist beliefs upon others.
Believe it or not and I know you won’t not everyone has the hatred towards those they disagree with as you obviously do

How is that affecting YOU?

Why is it having trans people existing hurts your “simple pleasures in life”?

And again, it’s not like it was a national ad campaign putting that in front of you on TV. It was a campaign to a Instagram influencer’s followers. You’d never see it.

But then, for you to be happy, trans people can’t exist, right?

I’m not making anything up. How does a beer company micro-targeting a market on an Instagram influencer’s page to their followers affect you?

Why do you want them silenced?

If by your you are speaking about people in general it is because there are things in life that people do not want politics or political opinions thrust into.

Now I've told you 4 times

Again, how does this affect them - or you?

Is a beer company targeting black people being political? Or blended families? Or gays?

Yesterday, as a matter of fact. For once, I wanted a chicken sandwich. It was okay.

I just don’t hardly ever eat chicken sandwiches.

I don’t drink Miller Lite. Never liked it. Same with Coors Light. Doesn’t mean I’m boycotting them.

But I didn’t support Chick Fil A when their profits went toward abusing gay people. I know you did support that.

I doubt the executives at AB even knew about it. I personally believe the woke lefty in charge of advertising thought it was a great idea.
As for advertising to a niche group bullshit. There aren't enough people in that group to make it worth the effort.
The lady in charge was using her position to make a personal political statement.

Sure it is. You forget what I did for a living. We targeted all kinds of niche markets, and big companies do the same thing. You're just ignorant.

And AGAIN, if you aren't following this trans woman's Instagram account, how does that affect you? Still waiting for the answer.
