Trump Announces Executive Order Plans on Voter ID Requirements

President Donald Trump announced Saturday night on Truth Social that he plans to issue an executive order mandating voter identification for all voters nationwide.

Trump declared that voter ID "Must Be Part of Every Single Vote. NO EXCEPTIONS!" and stated he would be "Doing An Executive Order To That End."

Indeed, if the boat was in international waters, which it probably was, there is no legal justification for destroying it. Basically, drumpf did a military version of piracy on the high seas, and there is absolutely nothing in international admiralty law to stop him from doing it again.

I don't even know whether it's grounds for impeachment, since the law doesn't cover it. Drumpf will continue to use the military for things it was never conceived to do, and there will continue to be no real means of opposition. Possee Commitatus gets invoked, but getting it to hold up in court is another whole can of worms. I suspect we will continue to see combat troops picking up trash on the White House lawn.

CBS News says it is changing its policy on how it airs interviews with top government officials following complaints from Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, who accused the network of selectively editing footage of her recent interview.

President Donald Trump is expected to fire U.S. Attorney Erik Siebert after Siebert’s office was unable to find sufficient evidence that New York Attorney General Letitia James committed mortgage fraud, ABC News reported on Thursday night.

Trump has feuded with James after the attorney general successfully sued the Trump Organization for fraud. Judge Arthur Engoron ruled against Trump, concluding that “the former president and his company deceived banks, insurers, and others by massively overvaluing his assets and exaggerating his net worth on paperwork used in making deals and securing financing.” The Trump Organization was ordered to pay $354 million, a figure that increased to north of $500 million with interest this year. Last month, however, a New York appeals court ruled the amount excessive and threw it out.
