They refer to the whole state of New York, apparently. Odd. I've never seen Westchester County as all that rude. Even Manhattan gets a bad rap, because its compact layout and heavy use of mass transit makes people mix more than they would in a car-centered environment such as Los Angeles.

The poll referred to seems a bit strange. I've heard of Gallup and other professional companies like that, but who is Clever Real Estate? What was the design of their "study?" Who was asked? How was sampling done?
