Four members of Saturday Night Live are leaving the show at the end of this season.
Longtime popular “Saturday Night Live” stars Pete Davidson, Kate McKinnon, Aidy Bryant and Kyle Mooney are expected to leave the program, Variety and Deadline reported Friday.

Their last regular appearances will be the final show of the 47th season on Saturday, sources told Deadline, and it may include a group goodbye.

There were no immediate details on why they’re leaving, but most have increasingly taken on new creative projects outside the program.

I've been a fan of Kate McKinnon and I'll hate to se her go. I like Aidy Bryant and think she's good at playing different characters. I've never been a fan of Pete Davidson so I won't miss him. Kyle Mooney, I don't think I would have noticed he was gone if I hadn't read this article.

Airports in New York City Can No Longer Overcharge Travelers for Food and Drinks

New York City has been doing a lot in recent years to improve its three airports—everything from building entire new terminals to modernizing concourses and security checkpoints. But one of the most passenger-friendly changes for airports in New York City was just announced on May 12.

The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey—which runs LaGuardia, JFK, and Newark airports—announced new price caps for food and drink services in all three airports to prevent concessionaires from gouging travelers. The new policy limits concession prices to the product's “street pricing” outside the airport plus a maximum surcharge of 10 percent, which is meant to compensate for the fact that they face higher operating costs than off-airport dining establishments.

Seminole County Republican Chair, two others charged in ‘ghost candidate’ case

Seminole County Republican Party Chair Ben Paris, political consultant Eric Foglesong and former independent candidate Jestine Iannotti have been charged in a multi-count indictment alleging election fraud in the 2020 election in Senate District 9.

Iannotti had run in the SD 9 election as an independent candidate in a contest that critics had alleged was a “ghost candidate” maneuver intended to draw votes away from Democratic candidate Patricia Sigman, to aid the election of Republican Jason Brodeur, who won.

Republican Wisconsin elections panel member resigns, says Trump lost

A Republican member of the Wisconsin Elections Commission announced his resignation on Wednesday, saying he could no longer effectively serve the party because he believes former President Trump lost the 2020 election.

Dean Knudson, who previously chaired the commission after serving three terms in the state legislature, said the state party did not want him to assume the chair position because of his stance on the election results. The commission was set to consider its leadership for the next term at Wednesday’s meeting, but the group postponed the vote following Knudson’s resignation.

Angels fire Joe Maddon: Manager out with team in midst of 12-game losing streak

Mired in the longest single-season losing streak in franchise history, the Los Angeles Angels made a change at manager Tuesday afternoon. The team announced Joe Maddon has been relieved of his duties, and third base coach Phil Nevin will serve as interim manager. Maddon's firing comes on the heels of Angels' 12th straight loss Monday night, a 1-0 defeat to the Boston Red Sox at home.

This is tied for the longest single-season losing streak in franchise history and the second longest losing streak overall, behind a 13-game losing streak spanning the final 12 games in 1988 and the first game in 1989. They were still the California Angels back then.
