God Gallipoli, what a fuck story that. Damn Churchill and his "Soft Underbelly" of Europe. Thousands of Soliers died in useless and fruitless battle.

Maybe these Brave Frenchmen rest in peace, they have earned it.

Mental illness in our country still has a huge stigma attached to it. When in fact it is no different than having diabetes.
To many people believe that if you are experiencing mental problems all.you need do is toughen up.
Again I urge everyone to give Patrick Kennedy's book a look

Since you bring it up ... well, it's interesting.

Yes, I agree, mental illness is a big problem in our society, and I knew that before Patrick Kennedy wrote his book (though it's good).

But since you bring it up, it's not "like diabetes" (though we could talk about the cost of insulin), as many kinds of mental health care are not fully covered by most peoples' health insurance.

Or weren't, until that evil liberal initiative known as Obamacare actually required all insurers to cover it.
https://www.ehealthinsurance.com/resour ... alth-plans

Even still ... there are gaps in coverage.

The thing that surprised me about Kennedy's book was his dad Ted had the same opinion as my dad about mental illness.
Basically you just have to toughen up. My mom had dementia and denied it till her dying day. Because it is a brain ailment. Now if she had cancer she probably would have been marching up and down her street with a banner.
Now my dad was born in 27 my mom in 29. Sad how today people still have those same attitudes
