Circuit Court of Appeals, Trump’s attorneys said the prosecution’s charges primarily focus on his efforts to lobby state and federal officials to reverse the election results, actions that they claim were within Trump’s official responsibilities to ensure the 2020 election was conducted fairly.

U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert announced Wednesday night that she is ditching her reelection bid next year in Colorado’s 3rd Congressional District to run instead in the state’s 4th Congressional District, which is on the other side of the state and is far more favorable to Republicans.

Boebert won by just 546 votes last year in the 3rd District, which spans Colorado’s Western Slope into Pueblo and southeastern Colorado. The 4th District is anchored in Douglas County and includes Loveland and the state’s rural Eastern Plains.

Lee, 59, the head of the main opposition Democratic Party, was airlifted to a Seoul hospital for surgery after receiving emergency treatment in Busan. Police and emergency officials earlier said he was conscious after the attack and wasn’t in critical condition, but his exact status was unknown.

Intruder breaks into building of Colorado Supreme Court, allegedly fires shots and is arrested

An intruder shot out a window of the Ralph L. Carr Colorado Judicial Center, entered the building, and held an unarmed security guard at gunpoint early Tuesday morning. The suspect was arrested after allegedly firing additional shots and starting a fire inside the building that is the home of the Colorado Supreme Court and the Colorado Court of Appeals.

Colorado State Patrol said in a press release this all started with a two-vehicle crash at 13th and Lincoln Streets where one individual reportedly pointed a handgun at another driver around 1:15 a.m. Tuesday.
