"SNIP......

“A notorious Hungarian racist who has called Jews ‘stinking excrement,’ referred to Roma as ‘animals’ and used racial epithets to describe Black people, was a featured speaker at a major gathering of US Republicans in Budapest,” The Guardian reports.
I realize this is posted somewhere here already, but I dont think we can post it enough, talk about it enough. Those days I remember Rachel Maddow talking about possibly coming if we didn't vote, back in 2016, are here.

Well, it fits, since Republicans themselves are notorious racists.

And obviously you aren't concerned at all about the rampant racism in the GOP either, are you?

The so called rampant racism is primarily another attempt at the politics of personal destruction by the left.
Because you folks know if you were to campaign on your political beliefs you wouldn't have a chance.

Not that I was surprised.

Blumenthal talks at a communist event and you defend it.
As for racism any person party or group that doesn't agree 100pct with the left's view is deemed racist

Perhaps the term may occasionally be overused but ..

there's no way it can inaccurately be applied to Szolt Bayer, who took the stage at CPAC along with Trump and others in Hungary.

Bayer says Roma (Gypsies) are animals, Blacks are the n-word, and Jews are a form of excrement.

BTW, it's not like Trump or Carlson or Posobiec just happened to run into him without knowing he would be there. CPAC handled all the invitations, and he was a featured speaker.

Also: BTW, Orban himself, who they lavished praise over, has essentially articulated the Great Replacement theory (except in a European context).

Should be noted U.S. Freedom House - a nonpartisan organization - has lowered Hungary's status under Orban and his Fidesz party from a "free society" to a "partly free society".

As I have told some, you I think also, my wife loves Dr. Phil. I hate his show but I am in the room sometimes when she watches. Today he had body language experts describing Putin's real meaning about the Ukraine and it was interesting for once.

At one point I thought of you because of how Jewish people or maybe just Ukrainians in general were referred to as insects or something by Trump's pal Putin, and I remember in detail you explaining to me why it is never a good idea to dehumanize people. Thanks for that lesson.

I can't stand Dr. Phil, I know Oprah "discovered" (so to speak) both him and Dr. Oz, but I consider both of them charlatans and snake oil salesmen.

But yes, a few people have noticed that, while claiming to "de-Nazify" Ukraine, Putin is handing out fascist literature to his troops, essentially denying the existence of a Ukrainian people, dehumanizing its people, and totally denigrating its Jewish president.

As I've said, my Ashkenazi family (grandparents) were not from Ukraine. However, they were from an area not so far away, and possibly one Putin is eyeing next, called Moldova. At the time it was part of an area called the Pale of Settlement - an area the Tsars settled the Jews in because they didn't want them living in the rest of Russia, and it was easier to organize pogroms against them.

(Many) Poles were anti-Semites, so were MANY Ukrainians at least during WW II, and so were many Russians. It was the Russian Tsarist Secret Police, the Okhrana, who distributed the Protocols of the Elders of Zion. That later on Henry Ford and Adolf Hitler would promote, but that's how it started.

Sigh. F**k them all.

This is another one of your canards about agreement/disagreement.

No, "any person" who expresses racist ideas, racist ideology, votes for racist policies and politicians, and instills racism in their children is not simply "deemed" racist.

They're racist. Too bad for conservatives, your entire party is infected with it and to be frank, it always has been. Same for the Democratic party.

This country is rooted specifically in white-conservative racism.

Ther'es good news for you, though: you don't have to be one.

Hi, Mister Whattabboutery.

Racists spent the past 400 years ruling this country with an iron fist, since before it was even a country.

We took that away from them a generation ago, not that that's stopping them from trying.

Communists have never even been dog catcher here.

The Republican party is currently jam packed with racists. You vote for their politicians and their policies.

Conservative whites do not consider their historic oppression of everyone else to be oppression.

They do not consider enslaving others to be oppressive. For them, it's a charitable, civilizing act.

They don't think eliminating and forcibly assimilating Native Americans as oppressive. See above re: charitable, civilizing acts. See also: Indian Boarding Schools.

They don't consider the segregation by race they implemented all over the country to be discrimination. They think the end of preferential treatment for white males is the discrimination.

They don't think that a century and a half of denying Asian Americans basic rights and frequently stripping them of those rights to be oppressive. But East Asians sure are useful as sticks to beat other demographic minorities with. :problem:

They don't think women not being allowed to vote really until 1965 to be oppressive; they think the Voting Rights Act of 1965 is oppressive. They thought women suffrage was oppressive.

They consider other peoples' right to a free and fair vote oppresses them by lowering their grandfather clause, Jim Crow-era "standards".

"Racism" to conservative whites like Glennfs is an anonymous African American on the internet with a critique of white conservatism they're unequipped to argue with.

"Racism" to conservative whites is when normal white people don't buy into the propaganda that exploits them.

This guy's view of "racism" is classic Orwellianism, like all conservative ideas about oppression and discrimination.

The other side of that is that being called "racist" or "a racist" is just an abstraction and a funny game, to these conservative whites.

When called that by an African American, however, it becomes a badge of honor.

Lol you should see some of these people begging for me to call them "racist." :problem:

It's a game I refuse to play with them.

Definition of a racist
Any person who doesn't agree with you.

Your views on white people is certainly racist. Because if a person were to substitute white with any other group or race it would be considered racist.

I keep wondering where she has said anything about all white people being ... anything (good, bad, etc.)

What has she ever said about the white race as a whole?

Incidentally, she has a whole thread where she also criticizes black, Asian, Hispanic, and other minority conservatives.

Trust me ... I have heard those kind of statements ... mostly from groups like the Nation of Islam, or so-called "Black Hebrew Israelites" ... and I don't like them either ("white devils") ... not from her, though.

I've never even heard her say anything about "pale people" having recessive genes or having something wrong with them, although I have heard that in ... other quarters.

Ok switch all Republicans who are white to inner city blacks or inner city gang members or any other group and it would be racist.
Mainly because she pretty much includes all Republicans and all conservatives and all white people who disagree with her opinion.

She considers me anti trans because of my opinion on sports participation. Even though we agree with pretty much everything else.
Oops I forgot about our difference in opinion at what age it is proper to discuss adult topics with children.
But it isn't just a difference of opinion. It is if you don't tow the line she had set for herself you are a racist.

Then of course there is every time one of those fools commit a crime it is evidence of just how blood thirsty and brutal white conservatives are.
Can you imagine if a person were to post something similar when a fool who happened to be African American committed a crime.
Again racism is racism no matter the group or people your hatred and bigotry and ignorance is directed towards

It is, as you say, a simple fact that CJ never says "all" anything other than maybe all white supremacist assholes, which is perfectly fine. Being her friend of many years and reading her has been a pleasure and education. The same applies to you!

This is why I am a pessimist about our survival.

Poll: 61% of Trump voters agree with idea behind 'great replacement' conspiracy theory

A new Yahoo News/YouGov poll shows that more than 6 in 10 Donald Trump voters (61%) agree that “a group of people in this country are trying to replace native-born Americans with immigrants and people of color who share their political views” — a core tenet of the false conspiracy theory known as the “great replacement.”

Less than a quarter of Trump voters (22%) disagree with that statement.

So-called replacement theory has been covered extensively in the days following the May 14 murder spree carried out by a white supremacist at a Buffalo, N.Y., grocery store. The suspect, an adherent of the conspiracy theory, shot and killed 10 Black shoppers in the attack.

The survey of 1,573 U.S. adults — which was conducted from May 19 to 22 — found that relatively few Americans (just 34% overall) believe in the underlying idea behind replacement theory, and more than twice as many Americans strongly disagree (33%) than strongly agree (14%) with it. (An Associated Press-NORC poll conducted before the shooting delivered a similar result after posing similar questions to U.S. adults.)

Attending an event with a communist speaker is not on par with this topic.

He claims the right is “open minded” for embracing intolerant extremists groups. He doesn’t know what open minded means, because that’s as opposite as you can get. Then goes full on hypocrite by going after Blumenthal. Hilarious.
